I guess the traditional mass is a much more somber affair--almostly severely reverent, but not in any bad way; it's a beautiful somberness in a way which appreciates a mystery and is acting it out. If you don't know I'm Orthodox so for me the Orthodox Liturgy just reminds me of why I became Orthodox along with the second video showing the sort of updated worship style and liturgical style of Catholicism, which felt to me like a reiteration of my protestant upbringing. I loved going to Mass with my grandmother as a child, but even though they were practicing the new liturgy, it was much different than it is today. I guess, I was trying to see if anything I observed or something else came out to others. I've grown accustomed to practices and ways of being in the Eastern Orthodox Church and also have heard many Catholics are looking to return to a liturgical form more like the Tridentine mass or an older mass. If I was Catholic I think I'd have the same opinion. But here I wasn't meaning to get as polemical as to note major shifts in the understanding of what worship or doxa, right glory, is.
